Poland Cards
First, a couple of interesting notes. The company that will operate the Starbucks stores in Poland is AmRest Holdings SE. They have signed a 15 year deal with Starbucks to manage and operate Starbucks Stores in Poland as well as the Czech Republic and Hungary. Also note thes Cards are called a "Starbucks Gift Card" instead of a "Starbucks Card". The difference is the "Starbucks Gift Card" is valid only at Starbucks stores within Poland. Current denominations are 25zl, 30zl, 50zl, and 100zl.
In a recent email from AmRest (the company that operates Starbucks in Poland), this is what they have reported to us. A/O January 2013, the company running Starbucks in Poland is AmRest Coffee Sp.z 0.0. With this announcement, they are NOT selling any more
Gift Cards, but a pre-paid Card with a minimum purchase of 20 zl. These Cards can be reloaded and have a Rewards Program.
The Card is only valid in Poland and can't be reloaded or purchased online.
