"10th Anniversary Partner" Australia Only

We are changing this listing due to various inconsistencies about the Card and the false marketing that sellers are using to obtain a higher price in the secondary market.

It was first reported that this Card was released in the summer of 2010. That would be true, but this issue was designed by the Starbucks Customized Card program in Seattle by individuals (probably in Australia) and was never issued or released by Starbucks Australia, as some would claim.

What triggered this follow-up was the 6042 serial number, that it should have been produced and printed in March-April 2007, and that the CAR-636 number matches the Customized Card Program number.

After various email's from individuals that track serial numbers and release dates, we've confirmed the card is real, but designed by individuals in Australia as a "10th Anniversary Partner" Card that may or may not have been a "private" anniversary celebration among Starbucks employee's. Because anyone could make this Card via the Customized Card Program, we warn collectors that this is not a standard commercial issue and follows the Customized Card rules in collecting.
