Texans are very proud of their state, history and culture. This Card reflects the yellow rose - which is NOT the Texas State flower - that belongs to the Bluebonnet. Yellow Rose of Texas is a Traditional / Folk song, c1836-1858. It became popular during the U.S. Civil War, especially among cavalrymen.
