2017 (MMXVII) is the Sixth year for the Chinese New Year zodiac. For 2017 - it's YEAR OF THE Rooster, scheduled for release in the U.S. and Canadian markets on December 26th, 2016. The Chinese New Year for 2017 is officially celebrated on January 28th, based on the new moon.
The design is purple background with a colorful rooster crowing. The Card says 'YEAR OF THE Rooster 2017' and the Chinese symbols for HAPPY NEW YEAR all in gold.
Canada also has a version with English/French on the reverse. Various other countries will release a similar design.
