2020 is the (9th) ninth year for the Chinese New Year zodiac Starbucks Card. For 2020 - it's YEAR OF THE RAT*, scheduled for release in the U.S. and Canadian markets early 2020, as the Chinese New Year for 2020 is officially celebrated on Saturday - January 25th, based on the new moon.
The 2020 design shows a number of rats in different positions over a red background. The gold lettering at the bottom says: 2020 YEAR OF THE RAT (also spelled in Chinese lettering). In observing the "rats", they look more like bumble bees with the orange stripes.
