2023 is the (12th) twelfth year for the Chinese New Year zodiac Starbucks Card. For 2023 - it's YEAR OF THE Rabbit*, scheduled for release in the U.S. and Canadian markets early 2023, as the Chinese New Year for 2023 is officially celebrated on Tuesday - February 1st, based on the new moon.

Chinese New Year starts on January 22nd, 2023. Also known as the Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, Chinese New Year is celebrated at the second new moon following the Winter Solstice. This festival marks the end of winter and the beginning of a long-awaited spring! According to the Chinese Zodiac, 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit.
