2019 is the eighth year for the Chinese New Year zodiac Starbucks Card. For 2019 - it's YEAR OF THE PIG, scheduled for release in the U.S. and Canadian markets on December 31st, 2018. The Chinese New Year for 2019 is officially celebrated on Tuesday - February 5th, based on the new moon.
The 2019 design has a mustard colored background with a pigs head surrounded with small white flowers. The Card says 'YEAR OF THE PIG 2019'.
Canada also has a version with English/French on the reverse. Various other countries will release this or a similar design.
