Part of the Starbucks history was the purchase of Teavana, an Atlanta-based company back in 2012. Shortly after the purchase they incorporated the Teavana card as part of the Starbucks card program, meaning that either would work in Starbucks coffee shops or Teavana stores.
This version was made and available in the Teavana stores shortly after the Starbucks purchase in 2012. This is their standard issue with a copper background and gold logo. This being the Canadian version, both English and French are printed on the back.
HISTORY
Then in 2017 it was announced that Starbucks would close all 379 Teavana stores across the country in 2018. Teavana sells a wide range of gourmet teas, plus teapots and accessories. Starbucks said it would keep selling some Teavana teas in its coffee shops and other special retail outlets. The Teavana cards are no longer available but still can be used at Starbucks stores in North America.
