Seattle 2015 aka "Orca"

This is the third (3rd) Seattle Starbucks Card, released early June 2015 in the greater Seattle area. Last year - it was the Space Needle Starbucks Card and prior to that was the original Seattle Card, released in 2011. This design is updated with a subtle image of the Space Needle, but it also has the new "Great Wheel" that was opened on the Seattle waterfront June 29th, 2012. It's the largest observation wheel on the west coast, standing 175 feet tall. The wheel weights 280,300 pounds and took 550 tons of concrete to make the foundation. In silhouette is the Seattle skyline and forest, but up front is the focus in this design - an okra coming out of the water in Elliott Bay
