Temple of the Emerald Buddha 2007

Reissued in early 2013 is the re-release of "Temple of the Emerald Buddha 2013" or just the "Temple" Card. The first release was July of 2007 and a few minor changes were made. First and most obvious is the new sirens eye (logo). You'll also notice the STARBUCKS CARD line is missing. Other subtle differences include the coffee cup where it has checkers where the old version was plain green. This Card was printed with a cute Thai girl with a jasmine flower behind her ear. The jasmine is the traditional flower of Thailand. The background of this Card is The Wat Phra Kaew ( Temple of the Emerald Buddha) with the Indrajit Gaint (This is one of 12 giants, characters from the Thai Ramakien epic, who guard the entrances to Wat Phra Kaeo in Bangkok). One of the other staples of Thailand is the elephant and one is very faint in the bottom right corner of the Card. On the top of the Card in Thai text is "THAILAND".
