"Digital Holiday " was released Friday, November 2nd, 2018 in North America along with the other "Special Issues", recycled Cards and Standard Holiday/Christmas Starbucks Cards.
"Great Year" was the first cardboard digital Starbucks Card that was released in North America August 2018. This is just a Christmas update of the same program.
The concept is gifting this digital Card to anyone as a gift. The funds are loaded onto a iPhone or Android Smart phone (which most students have now) and saving the environment of more plastic. The cardboard is made of 30% post-consumer waste. |
