Released March 5th, 2013 is yet another first for a Starbucks Card. This time we've got a plastic Card made with wood, in this case birch. It's not known what the percentages of each are, but it does have a "woody" feel. This is a brown toned Card with two steaming cups of coffee, one being ceramic and the other a paper cup. SPECIAL EDITION is printed in the bottom left. The back identifies the Card as being made with birch. It reads: The wood in this card is birch, harvested from sustainable managed forests.
