This Card is yet another first in the 11 year history of the North American Starbucks Card program. This is the first Card to recognize the teacher, and co-insides with Teacher Appreciation week which begins Monday, May 7, 2012, and ends Friday, May 11, 2012.
The Card design is a chalk board with the writing "Thanks, teacher!" A Starbucks coffee mug is used for colored chalk and the iconic apple, both in the bottom right corner. Most teachers would rather have a Starbucks Card than an apple, so here it is!!
