Silver 40th Anniversary

Available in late Spring - early Summer 2011 is the Silver 40th Anniversary Starbucks Card, which has been elusive in most U.S. markets, but has shown up in larger cities and gradually in smaller markets as a "hanger" issue, meaning it was available in most larger supermarkets, drug stores and various retail outlets for a short time. This issue is not available in retail Starbucks stores, the first time a "hanger" issue is exclusive to the outside retail market. This silver 40th Anniversary Card is labeled "Sourcing and Roasting our Coffee for You Since 1971", just left of the new sirens eye.
