Earlier in 2007, Starbucks hosted a partner design contest in North America. Of the nearly 1,000 submissions received from the extremely talented pool, artwork by Lea Gray of Columbus, Ohio, was selected. Her artwork is featured on this LIMITED EDITION Card called "Coffea Arabica". Though not recognized on the U.K. Card as a contest winner (compared to the North American version), her artwork is used for this Special Edition Card. The name "Coffea Arabica" is the Latin botanical name for the coffee plant. The Card is a very colorful representation of the coffee flower and bean.
