"Ichiro"
Starbucks, Major League Baseball & the Seattle Mariners have joined forces to create a unique and limited-edition Starbucks Card featuring Ichiro Suzuki that benefits seriously ill children.
This one-of-a-kind Card will be available in Washington, Oregon and Starbucks.com The Japanese version will only be available in Japan. It was pre-loaded for $10. $2 from each sale will go to charities including the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation in the U.S. and Make-A-Wish of Japan.
The Ichiro Sleeve is unique when compared to other Sleeves. This one has a cellophane window (about the same size as the card). The reverse has an opening for the card number to show thru, and Ichiro's baseball stat's. The Card is attached with glue as this Sleeve doesn't have a pocket.
Exclusive only to Japan is a special edition gift-giving Ichiro Sleeve. This one has the wording "A Gift for You" and a image of Ichiro swing the bat, both in gold leaf. (see image below)
