"Heritage Promotional Necklace"

On July 1st, 2003, Canadians celebrated Canada Day with this special exclusive Canadian card. Starbucks introduced this masterpiece designed by Canadian artist Andrew Lewis. His artwork captures and celebrates the spirit and beauty of Canada with the inspiration of exploration and adventure - a history of overcoming obstacles in traversing vast distances - a history that propels them even today.

This necklace was introduced at the Toronto International Film Festival, where actors, writers, directors and producers come from every corner of the planet to show-off their works in Canada's largest city. Two months after the intoduction of the Heritage Card, Starbucks used it as a promotional necklace as a corporate giveaway (as seen here). The film festival ran from September 4th thru the 13th.

Collectors Note: It's not known how many were produced and given out during the Film Festival or what the original dollar amount was on the Card.
