Maurice Sendak, best known for the children's classic "Where the Wild Things Are", has been widely enjoyed and celebrated as an artist and author for over fifty years. Enchanted forests, magical creatures, whimsical characters and magical happenings inhabit much of his work. Tracing Sendak's work from 1960 to the present, this exhibition consists of 140 works in different media, and represents various stages of the artistic process. Visitors of this exhibit will have the rare opportunity to view 112 original drawings by the artist as well as artwork for theatrical sets and costumes for Broadway musicals, the ballet and opera.

This Sleeve was produced to promote the exhibit running through April 23rd, 2006. The Sleeve design is produced with a tri-fold and has a 1 3/4 inch square window to display one of Mr. Sendak's preliminary drawings for Time magazine (see image). Inside is a card pocket for a vertical insert of a Starbucks Card.
