Starbucks and the San Diego Zoo joined together to raise awareness - and financial support - to help save endangered species through an annual Art Contest.
Judges selected Gloria Chadwick's beautiful portrait of flamingos. Her artwork is featured on this very special card, as well as on a splash proof drink tumbler. For every purchase of this card or tumbler, Starbucks donated $2.00 to the San Diego Zoo's worldwide conservation efforts. NOTE: Card was issued with a minimum of 20.00
This card is considered highly collectable because it was issued only to Southern California during it's promotional period. The Matching Sleeve (shown below) is also highly collectable. In addition, collectors look for the matching pin issued only to Starbucks partners.
